Lady Gaga's 9-Year-Old Guest Spot on "The Sopranos" Goes Viral

NEW YORK (CBS) Lady Gaga is one of the most talked about entertainers in the free world, but the 24-year-old was just once a regular American teen, with regular hair and looks.

And  now,  fans like   you can see just what she looked  like back then.

 Gaga, whose real real name Stefani Germanotta, had a guest spot on hit HBO series "The Sopranos" when she was 15 years old, back in 2001. And the clip, which has hit YouTube, has gone viral.

It's clear the young brunette - sans the crazy, controversial costumes - was already eager for the spotlight.

In the episode, called "The Telltale Moozadell," she appears in a scene in which Tony Soprano's son A. J. and his friends are swimming at their high school pool after hours. Gaga plays one of three friends who watch and laugh as the boys swim.

When the boys start to get out of hand and do some vandalizing, one of the girls joins in while Gaga and the other girl look on and laugh.

And the teenager was already experimenting with risque roles as she wore a midriff-baring top and smoked a cigarette.
