Lady Gaga to give keynote speech at 2014 SXSW

Lady Gaga is headed to SXSW for the first time. She's been tapped as this year's keynote speaker at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas, on Friday.

Gaga joins a star-studded list of previous keynote speakers, including Bruce Springsteen, Lou Reed and Dave Grohl.

The 27-year-old pop star will also perform at the festival Thursday headlining Doritos' lineup at Stubb's Bar-B-Q.

Fans can try to snag a ticket by completing a "series of bold challenges issued online." The show will help raise awareness for Gaga's Born This Way Foundation.
