Elvis Presley's graddaughter Riley Keough, English actress Felicity Jones and "Sucker Punch" star Emily Browning are also candidates and have all reportedly went through screen tests.

The retelling of the classic fairy tale, according to THR, will focus on the Huntsman, who takes Snow White to the forest to kill her but instead becomes her protector and mentor from the Evil Queen.

Viggo Mortensen is in negotiations to play the Hunstman, while Charlize Theron is in talks to play the Evil Queen. Rupert Sanders is set to direct the film.
