Kourtney Kardashian's Son "Doing Fine" After Being Taken to Hospital
NEW YORK (CBS) Kourtney Kardashian says her 11-month-old son, Mason, is "doing fine" after being rushed to the hospital for having an allergic reaction to peanut butter Friday.
The new mom spoke out about the incident on her blog Monday and said her son "threw up" and "got hives on his face" within minutes of tasting peanut butter.
"I called 911 and the fire department came immediately," she wrote on her website. "They suggested that we take him to the hospital, so we did. He was in good spirits the whole time and didn't even know anything was wrong. He even enjoyed riding in the ambulance. He's such a good boy!!"
Kardashian, who is currently filming the new E! reality series "Kim and Kourtney Take Manhattan" in the New York, said she took away a valuable lesson from her son's allergic episode.
"I learned such a lesson with this...to always follow my instincts and call 911. Always better safe than sorry. "
