(CBS) Kings of Leon has canceled the rest of its U.S. tour. The band ended a Friday night show in Dallas early and postponed a Houston gig Saturday. Now everything is scuttled.

In a statement, the bands says, "We are so sorry to say Kings of Leon are canceling their entire U.S. tour due to Caleb Followill suffering from vocal issues and exhaustion."

U.S. shows will not be rescheduled because of the band's international touring schedule.

According to TMZ, the band will resume touring Sept. 28 in Canada. Late Friday, Jared Followill tweeted, "Dallas, I cannot begin to tell you how sorry I am. There are internal sicknesses & problems that have needed to be addressed. No words."
