Kings of Leon bassist Jared Followill is engaged
(CBS News) Kings of Leon bassist Jared Followill is engaged to model Martha Patterson after a few months of dating.
Followill announced the news on Twitter, revealing, "It's true! I'm engaged!"
Pictures: Celebrity Weddings and EngagementsJustJared.com, which first reported the news, revealed that Followill, 25, proposed to the 21-year-old model last month in Nashville.
Followill and Patterson started dating in January. In the past, he was romantically linked to actress Ashley Greene.
The rocker isn't the only Followill with a model. His brother Caleb Followill, also in Kings of Leon, wed Victoria's Secret supermodel Lily Aldridge last year. They're currently expecting a baby together.
