Kim Kardashian on baby's arrival: "Can't believe it! It's so crazy!"

Kim Kardashian is now mom to a baby girl -- and, perhaps like many others, is still in awe of it.

"Can't believe it. It's so crazy!" the reality TV star told Ryan Seacrest after he emailed to congratulate her on the birth of her and Kanye West's daughter.

Seacrest revealed her comments on his radio show Tuesday. He also spoke with E! News' Ken Baker, who called in to say that mother and baby are both healthy.

"This was not planned," he explained. "It came on very quickly and when it was time for the baby to come, it was time for the baby to come." He added that the birth was so unexpected that "the whole family was [even] dispersed all over the place."

But, Baker confirmed, "[The baby] is healthy and Kim is doing well...There's a great sense of relief. Everyone is very happy for her and Kim is relieved [because] this was a very stressful time."

Kardashian, 32, gave birth on Saturday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, reportedly five weeks before her due date. Sources told E! News that the baby girl weighs "just under five pounds" and was delivered naturally.

Her mother, Kris Jenner, said over the weekend that the new mom is"extremely happy and thrilled" over the baby's arrival. Some of her friends have also spoken out -- Brittany Gastineau told People that the baby is "beyond beautiful," while Larsa Pippin revealed to E! that Kardashian is "feeling really good and excited" and West, 36, is "in love with the baby."
