Keith Urban, Maroon 5 Kick Off Party In Texas

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) - Keith Urban, the father of a 5-week-old daughter, said Sunday that it's great to have another girl in the house.

In December, Urban and actress Nicole Kidmam welcomed a second daughter, Faith Margaret Kidman Urban, who was born to a surrogate. They also have a 2-year-old daughter, Sunday Rose.

"Sunday is just great with her," he said before performing during FOX's pre-Super Bowl festivities.

Maroon 5 also performed as part of the festivities in a tent outside Cowboys Stadium before the game.

During the Maroon 5 concert, frontman Adam Levine, shouted to the crowd assembled in the tent: "You're at the Super Bowl!"

He said the band was excited to be playing before the Super Bowl.

"It's bigger than we are, so it's kind of fun," said Levine, who called going to the game an "amazing bucket list event."

Urban said, "It's a bigger day for the players, but it's a big day for us too."

Urban's performance Sunday helped kick off his new tour, which will begin in June.

In November, Urban played at Cowboys Stadium during halftime of the Thanksgiving Day game between the Dallas Cowboys and the New Orleans Saints.
