Katy Perry sings duet with 11-year-old with autism

Katy Perry performed a  tear-jerking duet with Jodi DiPiazza, who has autism, at Comedy Central's Night of Too Many Stars benefit in New York City.

DiPiazza, was diagnosed with autism before her second birthday and initially struggled forming sentences. Now, 11, DiPiazza took the stage with her favorite singer Perry and performed their own rendition of the pop star's hit song "Firework," with DiPiazza playing the piano.

Perry took to Twitter to express her feeling about the performance.

The special, which features a slew of celebrities including Tina Fey, Louis C.K., and Seth Rogen, airs on Oct. 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central.
