Perry sent a cryptic Twitter message asking for privacy, as pictures of the two landing at the airport emerged.

"Greatest gift u can give us is respect & ? during this private X. No use wasting ur X w/ STOLEN or FALSE info. Thnku for this," she wrote.

The couple has kept details mum on their nuptials, but reports have speculated that the couple will have a traditional Indian ceremony at Rambagh Palace, which is where Brand proposed on New Year's Eve of last year.

Other reports state that Perry was photographed wearing an Indian bridal nose ring - known as a nath - when she and Brand departed from Heathrow Airport in London and again when they landed in India. The couple reportedly flew to Mumbai, and then tranferred to a 90-minute flight to Jaipur.

Rihanna, who took part in a bachelorette celebration for her friend Las Vegas in September, recently confirmed she'll be among the guests in attendance at the wedding.

"I am going," she said. "It is in India. I am excited about that because I have never been there. I am just excited to see her get married. I am excited to see her dress. She won't tell me what it is."

Brand also expressed his excitement about getting married at a recent event.

"It's a lovely thing to get married," he said. "I think it's a peaceful thing, and I'm very happy about it."
