(CBS) Singer Justin Timberlake's manager  has corrected numerous  media  reports attributing  the leaked  single "Take You "Down  " to Timberlake.

Sonia Muckle,  Justin Timberlake's manager, told CBS News  that multiple media reports, referred to in a Celebrity Circuit  blog post,  are untrue and that Justin's representatives "were not initially contacted to fact check the validity of these reports or if the song was, in fact, his." .

"Take You Down" is actually the work of a Danish artist named Rasmus Thude.

"Justin has no involvement with either the song or the artist," his management company said in a statement.

"But [he] wants to assure his fans that when he releases new music, they will be the first to know."

Now that that's settled, let's look on the bright side: JT will probably release something much better to dance to.
