The 18-year-old pop star will soon make an appearance on the long-running Fox show, "The Simpsons." Bieber spilled the news Wednesday, tweeting, "Just did a voice over for the SIMPSONS!!! #swaggy."

Although Bieber later deleted the tweet, the show's executive producer Al Jean confirmed the singer's appearance to Entertainment Weekly, noting that Bieber will be portray himself.

"He tries to get into a talent show that Bart [Simpson] is playing piano in and they won't admit him," Jean said. "Draw your own conclusions."

Bieber's episode is expected to air next year as part of the 24th season, which gets under way Sept. 30 on Fox. Other upcoming guest stars include Natalie Portman, Zooey Deschanel and Anne Hathaway.
