LOS ANGELES - A 54-year-old actor who appeared in "Jurassic Park" has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl, reports CBS Los Angeles.

Cameron Thor, of Agoura Hills, Calif., was arrested Tuesday on a charge of kidnapping with intent to commit rape, according to the station. The alleged assault reportedly took place between April 2008 and March 2009.

Officials said the unidentified victim, then 13, met with the suspect about attending acting classes. Thor teaches acting at Carter Thor Studios, which he co-owns with actress Alice Carter. After a consultation, Thor allegedly drove the girl to a secluded area in Agoura Hills and sexually assaulted her, CBS Los Angeles reports. Prosecutors said more sexual assaults followed.

The case was presented to the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office on Wednesday. Deputy District Attorney Simone Shay filed multiple charges against Thor: eleven counts of a sex crime on a child under 14, one count each of kidnapping, robbery, rape and sexual penetration, and another count of rape or sexual penetration, the station reports.

The suspect was arraigned on Thursday at the Van Nuys Courthouse and is being held in lieu of $2.6 million bail.

Thor's movie credits include "Jurassic Park," "A Few Good Men" and "Hook."
