Julie Chen visits "The Early Show"

For more than a decade, Julie Chen woke up very, very early to be part of "The Early Show."

And on the show on Wedneaday, she did it again -- but for a very different reason. Instead of reporting the news, she stopped by as a guest to talk about her CBS show, "The Talk."

Last fall, Chen moved on to a more civilized time of day, joining Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osborne, Holly Robinson Peete and Leah Remini as co-hosts of the popular talk show.

Check out her welcome back to "The Early Show" with the co-anchors in the video above. She talks about her life in recent months, following the birth of her son Charlie, and her transition into daytime TV.
