Julianne Hough Laughs Off Ryan Seacrest Engagement Rumors

NEW YORK (CBS) Julianne Hough has brushed off recent rumors that American Idol host Ryan Seacrest is getting ready to propose to her.

The 22-year-old "Footloose" actress denies that she is engaged to the "American Idol" host, according to published reports.

"Well, that's news to me, and I think it's news to him," she said with a smile to Entertainment Tonight. As for her summer European trip with Ryan where they were snapped by paparazzi enjoying each other's company on a private yacht.

Hough reveals the most exciting thing about the vacation was, "Eating, eating, eating, eating; I definitely had to get into shape for this movie after that little trip. But it was amazing!"

Hough, a professional ballroom dancer, famously won two seasons of ABC's "Dancing with the Stars."
