(CBS) PHILADELPHIA - Authorities say they are awaiting toxicology results to help determine the cause of death of Julia Law, the 26-year-old girlfriend and paralegal to high-profile Philadelphia defense attorney Charles Peruto Jr., CBS Philly reports.

Law, who would have turned 27 on Tuesday, was reportedly found naked, face down in a bathtub inside the Center City condo of Peruto Saturday morning.

According to Philly.com, a maintenance man discovered Law unresponsive and she was pronounced dead a short while later.

CBS Philly reports sources say Peruto, 58, was in Avalon, N.J. for the weekend and was not at home when the body was found.

Attorney Rich DeSipio, a friend and associate of Peruto, reportedly rushed to the scene after getting a frantic call from Peruto Saturday morning. DeSipio told the station Peruto was at the Jersey shore when he got a call from a maintenance man who discovered Law's body.

"Chuck just wouldn't stop crying, at all. I mean, he is just devastated," DeSipio recalled to the station. I was worried he was going to get into an accident. I then rushed back, rushed over to his house, found out it was true, because the police were there and they let me know. I called Chuck back, and he lost it when it was confirmed this really was happening."

Homicide investigators have questioned Peruto in regards to the case but he is said to be a witness and not a suspect, according to the station.

According to the station, DeSipio says police told him there were no signs of a struggle or foul play in connection with Law's death.

Philly.com reports police say the results of the autopsy on Law were not expected to be released until Tuesday afternoon at the earliest.
