Judge tells Lohan to speed up her community service to meet deadline
(CBS/AP) LOS ANGELES - It appears that Lindsay Lohan did not impress the judge at her probation progress hearing Thursday.
Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner told the actress that she needs to speed up her community service to make sure she meets her deadline.
Lohan appeared in a Los Angeles courtroom to update the judge on fulfilling her probation requirements rfor drunken driving and misdemeanor theft cases.
The "Mean Girls" star has only completed 33 hours of service at a shelter for women, out of the 480 hours she is required to complete within a year's time. She was warned by Judge Sautner that she would not be given any additional time to complete it, even if she was working on a movie.
Lohan has completed one shoplifters anonymous class, and is said to be having trouble enrolling in court-ordered psychological counseling.
She's scheduled to return to court on Oct. 19 to give Sautner another update.
