Jorge Barahona Update: Fla. Father Pleads Not Guilty to Trying to Kill Son, 10

(CBS/AP) WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Jorge Barahona, who is   accused of trying to kill his 10-year-old son by dousing him with chemicals, has pleaded not guilty.

The 53-year-old Barahona made a brief court appearance Friday. His badly injured son was found in his truck along Interstate 95 on Monday, Feb. 14.  The boy's 10-year-old twin sister was discovered dead in the back of the pickup near West Palm Beach.

Barahona is charged with attempted murder. He has not been charged in the girl's death, but court documents say he told police he was distraught after loading her body into the truck and wanted to kill himself.

He is being held without bail.
