Basketball legend Michael Jordan will join host Arnold Palmer in the featured group of the Bay Hill Invitational pro-am Tuesday, March 16.
They tee off at 11:45 a.m. with country singer Amy Grant, Gov. Tom Ridge of Pennsylvania and Pat Rooney, chairman of the board of Cooper Tires. Grant will be the featured entertainer at the pro-am dinner Tuesday evening.
Palmer wrote a letter to Jordan personally asking him to play.
Tickets are available for $28, and week-long badges for the entire event are on sale for $50.
There will be 53 teams playing Tuesday, each consisting of one professional and four amateurs. Play is scheduled to start at 7 a.m.
