Jonathan Rhys Meyers checks back into rehab
(CBS) - Actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers has reportedly checked back into rehab for alcohol addiction.
The 33-year-old "Tudors" star spent 10 days at a London clinic last month, the Daily Mirror reports. This is reportedly his fourth stint in rehab.
He is believed to have left the facility due to work commitments.
Meyers was last in rehab May 2010, following an incident at New York's John F. Kennedy airport in which he was allegedly banned from getting on a flight because he was intoxicated. According to the Daily Mail, he was seen drinking cocktails at 7 a.m. at one of the airport's VIP lounges. He also sought help earlier that February.
Meyers first entered rehab in April 2007. That November, he was arrested for public intoxication at the Dublin airport, but charges were later dropped, according to the Daily Mail.
Meyers has spoken candidly in the past about his alcohol issues, saying: "When I do drink I'm like Bambi. I'm all over the place like a 16-year-old kid."
Along with his role in "Tudors," Meyers is best known for starring in "Bend It Like Bekcham" and Woody Allen's "Match Point" with Scarlett Johansson.
