Jolie Says She's The Disciplinarian

Angelina Jolie talks about the individual personalities of her children and how she is the one who does the disciplining in the Jolie-Pitt household, in a new interview with People magazine.

Jolie says that her daughter Zahara (or "Z" as mom calls her) is hilarious and a standout among the trio. The couple has two adopted children Maddox, 5, and Zahara, 2, and a 7-month-old biological child, Shiloh.

"Mad is very smart, but he's got a certain sense of calm. Zahara is possibly the funniest person I've ever met in my life. So dramatic and creative and loud and charming. She's definitely the biggest personality in the house," says Jolie.

Jolie likes to think she's the disciplinarian of the bunch. "Brad can be, but if Z doesn't get the bottle from me, she'll very quickly run to Daddy," she says.

The actress, who is starring in "The Good Shepherd" with Matt Damon, admits that all of the traveling they do as a family can be difficult. "It's hard, and maybe one day we'll have to stay in one place," she says. "I'm sure (the kids are) going to be 18 and say, 'God, I just want to stay in one place.' They'll never want to leave home!"

It seems that Pitt and Jolie are doing something right: "Somebody said to us recently that they were happy kids, and we talked about how much that meant to us to hear. And they're good kids. God knows how we managed to do that — but they're good kids."

People reports that Jolie and Pitt are working to give their children a sense of pride in their homelands, Cambodia for Maddox; Ethiopia for Zahara.

The couple sponsored a relief project in Cambodia in their son's name. When she visited with him recently, "He recognized himself in the people, which is a wonderful thing," Jolie says.
