The Grammy Hall of Famer, who turned 75 last month, was on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" Tuesday to promote his new album.

Yes, a new album

"Let it Be Me: Mathis in Nashville," which hit store shelves Sept. 21,, is the latest of more than 130 albums released by the crooner, who is best known for such 1950s hits as "Wonderful, Wonderful," 'Chances Are," "It's Not for Me to Say" and "Misty."

Mathis, who won three Grammys, was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1973 and earned a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences in 2003.

He continues to perform, though limits his appearances to a few dozen a year, including annual performances at the Hilton in Las Vegas.
