John Tyler High School Stabbing Leaves Teacher Dead
TYLER, Texas (CBS/AP) A stabbing at John Tyler High School in eastern Texas has left a teacher dead.
Jody Henry told The Associated Press that his 50-year-old brother, Todd R. Henry, who was attacked Wednesday morning, was an "accomplished and respected guitarist." Todd Henry was a music therapist who worked with special needs students.
Tyler police spokesman Officer Don Martin said a juvenile was detained following Wednesday morning's attack.
Further details were not immediately released.
Martin referred questions to Angela Jenkins, a spokeswoman for John Tyler High School. Jenkins did not immediately return messages left by The Associated Press.
Tyler is about 90 miles southeast of Dallas.
