(CBS) John Malkovich can now be placed in the same category as Lindsay Lohan, Victoria Beckham, the Olsen twins and Justin Timberlake - celebrities with their own clothing lines.

The actor says his new line, Technobohemian, is named after a term he read in an as-yet-untitled Italian novel, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"I am inspired by the appearance of a bohemian of the new millennium," Malkovich said. "I thought it was necessary to update the figure of the bohemian but not in the traditional way. It was necessary to make it cosmopolitan, present and fully engaged in the technological world we live in today."

THR describes the line as being "Old Europe in quality" and being made from Italian materials and Japanese-imported denim. The collection, it says, aims for a "cultivated casual" look with printed button-down shirts, tailored jackets, woven ties and cravats.

According to the report, Technobohemian can be found in New York, West Hollywood, Miami and Denver.
