Maricopa County sheriff's deputies detained a man and woman in their 20s at around 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Value Place Motel in Phoenix.

A sheriff's spokesman confirmed the man was arrested, according to KPHO.

A bomb squad reportedly found ammunition in their room, but no bomb making materials.

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio was expected to hold a news conference about the incident.

The bomb threat was reportedly found on a Twitter thread referencing IEDs, or improvised explosive devices, at Maricopa County Superior Court, where the Jodi Arias verdict was announced, and a "BooooooM" that would happen Thursday afternoon.

A jury on Wednesday found Jodi Arias guilty of first-degree murder in the June 2008 death of her lover, Travis Alexander.
