Another Duggar baby -- Jill Dillard welcomes first child

The Duggar family has officially added another little one to their brood.

Jill Dillard (nee Duggar) has given birth to her first child with husband Derick Dillard, the couple announced on Tuesday.

Son Israel David arrived on Monday, April 6. "We are so thankful for a healthy Mom and baby! Love this sweet baby Israel! We are happy grandparents and we promise more pictures soon!" a statement on the "19 Kids and Counting" family's official page said, announcing the happy news.

Israel arrived at 11:49 p.m., weighing in at 9 lbs., 10 oz., according to People, which shared a photo of the new family:

The couple kept fans updated throughout her pregnancy, sharing photos of Jill's baby bump on Instagram. On Saturday, Derick Dillard shared one last snapshot wondering if they'd have an "Easter baby."

Jill, 23, and her husband, 26, tied the knot in June. Two months later, they announced they were expecting.
