(CBS) ORLANDO, Fla. - A JetBlue flight attendant is accused of trying to smuggle 940 grams of heroin - roughly two pounds - into Orlando International Airport under her uniform, according to CBS affiliate WKMG.

The station reports U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers screened passengers and employees Friday on a JetBlue flight arriving in Orlando from Bogota, Colombia.

During the screening, customs officers reportedly noticed that Carla Alvarado was wearing a black, sleeveless, form-fitting garment that covered most of her upper and lower torso.

During the search, officers reportedly found a concealed package with multiple, hard, brown oval-shaped pellets that looked like candy.

WKMG reports a criminal complaint states that Alvarado knew she was carrying something illegal and she believed it to be illegal drugs.

Alvarado reportedly said she received the package in Colombia and was being paid $10,000 to pass it to Jorge Luis Alomar, a acquaintance who was set to meet her in Orlando.

The complaint reportedly states Alvarado agreed to help agents with the investigation and complete the delivery, and when she met Alomar in Orlando to hand over the package, they were both arrestted.

WKMG reports Alomar told investigators he paid Alvarado $10,000 to make a similar delivery a few weeks ago.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, Alvarado and Alomar were charged with conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance. Alomar remains in jail while Alvarado was granted a pretrial release.
