(CBS/AP) SPRING CITY, Tenn. - A Tennessee mother and her boyfriend have been charged with murder in the death of her 5-year-old son.

CBS affiliate WDEF reports 29-year-old Jessica Robbins and 22-year-old Bradley Adcox were originally charged with abuse and neglect after they told officers Landon Robbins' injuries were from a fall.

The charges were upgraded Tuesday to felony first-degree-murder after an autopsy revealed that the boy died from "multiple blunt-force trauma."

According to the station, the boy was found in a small trailer home on a makeshift bed Friday night, and the mother told police she had tried CPR but the boy remained unresponsive, so she called 911.

Special Projects Officer Jeff Knight says Robbins and Adcox are being held without bond. An arraignment is set for Friday.

The station reports two other girls who were found in the trailer, ages 3 and 4, were removed to the care of  relatives.
