Free agent running back Travis Jervey signed a contract with the San Francisco 49ers on Monday.
Previous reports indicated that the former Green Bay Packer had agreed to a four-year deal worth $6 million. The 49ers would not release terms of the contract on Monday.
Jervey, 26, started five games for the Packers last season before breaking his left ankle Nov. 9. He rushed for 325 yards and a touchdown before the season-ending injury.
The fifth-round draft pick out of The Citadel made the Pro-Bowl team in 1997 as a special teams player.
