Jennifer Lawrence almost asked Seth Meyers out when he was engaged

Surprise! Jennifer Lawrence once had a major crush on former "SNL" funnyman Seth Meyers.

The Oscar-winning actress visited his late-night show on Tuesday and opened up about the time she almost tried to ask him out.

"You probably know this by now because I told everybody at NBC. But years ago...I did 'SNL.' You were working there....I had a really big crush on you," Lawrence admitted.

She went on to explain how she had this "whole plan" to ask him out during that time she was rehearsing for "Saturday Night Live."

"And thank God I talked to the wardrobe lady and I was like, 'I think I'm going to ask Seth Meyers out," Lawrence said. 'I'm going to give him my number.' And she was like, 'Honey, he's engaged.'"

She later added, "It was so long ago, so now I feel like I can tell you."

Lawrence, 25, also revealed that she has celebrity crush on Larry David, 68, of "Curb Your Enthusiasm. "I gave Larry David my number," she said. "He never called me."

"I texted Amy [Schumer] the other night because I was drinking wine and I was randomly watching 'Curb Your Enthusiasm,'" she told Meyers, 41. "I said, 'I have so many sexual and boyfriend, marriage feelings for Larry David, I feel like I'm going to be sick.'"

"I'm feeling a little bit less awesome about the crush now," Meyers joked.
