Jennifer Aniston Channels Barbra Streisand for Harper's Bazaar

NEW YORK (CBS) Jennifer Aniston is channeling her best Babs in the latest edition of Harper's Bazaar.

The actress, who coincidentally stars in the upcoming film "The Switch," dresses up and portrays her idol Barbra Streisand in the September issue of the magazine.

"[Barbra] was wonderful, and you could talk to her about anything," the 41-year old actress tells Harper's Bazaar about meeting Streisand at a Hollywood party on New Year's Eve a few years ago. "So, I happened to be talking to her and Jim [Streisand's husband, actor, James Brolin] when it struck midnight. They said, 'Excuse us,' kissed each other, and then, very politely, kissed me.'"

Aniston's photo shoot took place at a Los Angeles theater. While taking snaps the actress played Streisand's 1964 signature song, "People," and wore splashy outfits inspired by Streisand's wardrobe in two of her bigger movie hits, "Funny Girl" and "What's Up, Doc?"

No classic Streisand impersonation is complete without long nails. "The nails were like, 'There she is!'" says the "Friends" TV star.
