Jason Segel's superfan serenades the star on YouTube and gets a response
(CBS) Thanks to YouTube, fans are able to ask out their favorite celebs.
And if the videos are good enough to become viral, the celeb could actually see the video and respond. That is exactly what happened with Chelsea Gill and her date proposal to Jason Segel.
Gill charmed Segel on an acoustic guitar singing in the style of "The Muppets" star with quirky rhymes including, "Oh Jason Segal/You are the ring to my Smegal."
She ends the video saying, "So I'll wait a couple days for you to respond/ Totally no pressure/I know I came on a little strong/ But my offer's on the table/ So don't keep my heart waiting very long."
Segel was so moved by Gill's serenade that he posted the video onto his Twitter saying, "My favorite thing, maybe ever. I am in awe. Response on the way."
The actor followed up his initial tweet alluding to a response, but acknowledging it wasn't going to be so speedy."I'm gonna need a couple days on this one," he tweeted.
