January Jones "not as approachable" as others, says former "Mad Men" child star
(CBS) Jared Gilmore is leaving "Mad Men" for "Once Upon a Time," and the young actor has some advice for the actor that replaces him.
Gilmore, who played Bobby Draper on the AMC series, warned his successor to tread lightly around co-star January Jones.
"Be careful around January [Jones]. She's not as approachable as the others," he told TVGuide. "She's really serious about what she does. Everyone else is so nice."
The magazine reports that Gilmore opted to take a series-regular role on ABC's new drama instead of the seven episodes that "Mad Men" offered. His role as the son of Jon Hamm's Don Draper and Jones' Betty Draper will be re-cast.
Gilmore will have a different TV mom to work with on his new show - former "House" actress Jennifer Morrison plays his mother in "Once Upon a Time," which premieres on ABC in October.
