James Van Der Beek and wife expecting a third child

James Van Der Beek is adding to his family.

The former "Dawson's Creek" star and his wife, Kimberly, are expecting a third child together.

Kimberly revealed the news in a blog post on Friday: "James and I are happy to report that we are expecting our third child this winter!" the self-proclaimed "professional mom" wrote. "Nesting mode is starting to kick in. I've been getting rid of clutter, reconfiguring rooms, reorganizing EVERYTHING, etc...My mind doesn't stop."

The couple, who married in 2010, have two children together: Olivia, 2, and son Joshua, who's almost 3 years old.

Van Der Beek will next appear in the film "Labor Day," co-starring Kate Winslet, Josh Brolin and Tobey Maguire.
