J Lo Back On The Block For Album Promo

Jennifer Lopez had them lined up around the block Wednesday during a personal appearance in her old New York neighborhood.

"She came back to her roots to let us know that she loves us and we love her too the same way," fan Jackie Rosario told WCBS-TV's Scott Rapoport.

Hundreds of rabid fans showed up in the Bronx for a close-up look at La Lopez and her husband, salsa star Marc Anthony, and a chance for an autographed copy of her first album sung entirely in Spanish, "Como Ama Una Mujer."

"It's an incredible turnout, it touches my heart," Lopez told the crowd.

Lopez has recorded in Spanish before, most notably in her 1999 duet "No Me Ames" with Anthony.

This time around Anthony helmed the production of the album with co-producer Julio Reyes.

The album's first single is "Que Hiciste?" ("What Did You Do?"), which was released in January.
