It's a girl for Mel B and Stephen Belafonte
NEW YORK (CBS/AP) - It's a another girl for singer and former Spice Girl Melanie Brown.
An e-mail from a representative for the former Spice Girl says Brown and her husband, movie producer Stephen Belafonte, "welcomed their new baby girl in Los Angeles'' on Thursday night.
The e-mail reads, "This is the first child for Brown and Belafonte and both Mom and Baby are happy, healthy and doing well." There were no other details.
The 36-year-old Brown, also known as Mel B. and "Scary Spice," is the mother of two other girls, Phoenix, 12, and Angel, 4.
Brown and Belafonte were married in 2007. Belafonte's movie credits include "Thank You for Smoking." He has a daughter.
