Iraqis Want U.S. Troop Withdrawals Tied To Security Agreement
Drudge is leading his site this morning with a bright red headline declaring that the Iraqi government wants a timeline for the withdrawal of U.S. troops attached to a new security agreement that's currently being negotiated.
Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, in calling for the timeline, has company. As The Crypt reported last month, the Iraqi parliament holds the same position. And if the Iraqi government wants U.S. forces out, Republicans have said they're happy to oblige.
