iPhone stolen from pregnant woman In hospital

SAN FRANCISCO - Police in South San Francisco were searching for a suspect who stole an iPhone over the weekend from a pregnant woman in a hospital, CBS SF Bay Area reported.

The theft occurred at about 2:40 p.m. on Sunday at Kaiser Permanente-South San Francisco, according to police.

The woman was sitting alone in a main lobby when a man grabbed the phone out of her hands and ran, police said.

According to the station, the suspect was described as being about 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build, and was wearing a gray or blue hooded sweatshirt, light-colored blue jeans and black shoes.

He was last seen running through the hospital parking lot.
