Inmate arrested...for refusing to leave Ariz. jail

(CBS/AP) FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. - Most prisoners can't wait to get out of jail - but most people aren't 44-year-old Martin Kombate.

The northern Arizona inmate has been charged with trespassing, after he refused to leave the Coconino County lockup.

Coconino County Sheriff's Office spokesman Gerry Blair says Kombate was originally arrested in Flagstaff last week for trespassing, and was scheduled for release Monday on his own recognizance.

But when detention officers showed up to escort him out of jail, Kombate allegedly said he wasn't leaving - that he was staying because he couldn't find his wallet.

Blair says Kombate was disorderly in the lobby, and refusing to leave, so the police were called and Kombate was arrested...again.
