Inaugural-Palooza

California Senator Dianne Feinstein, who is in charge of overseeing the swearing-in ceremony of President-elect Barack Obama in January has introduced legislation to criminalize ticket scalping for the event, the AP reports. Some members of the House and Senate, whose offices are responsible for distributing tickets, are reporting they have more requests than tickets to give out. "This is going to be a major civic event of our time," Feinstein said. "Excitement is at an all-time high. People are desperate to become part of it ... We could have more than 1.5 million people
descend on the nation's capital."
