(CBS/AP) PHILADELPHIA - Iguanas and 'gators and roosters, oh my!

Animal welfare workers say more than two dozen animals, some living and some dead, were removed Tuesday from a Philadelphia home.

Authorities, responding to a report of a man sitting naked outside the home, removed a live four-foot alligator, four live pit bulls, iguanas, turtles, roosters, a tarantula and domesticated rats, according to the Pennsylvania Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Police say the owner of the home was taken for a mental health evaluation.

A reporter for Fox station WTXF-TV said he was accosted during a live report from the scene. The attacker was taken into police custody.
