Ian Eagle

This will be Ian Eagle's first year as a play-by-play announcer for CBS Sports' NCAA Men's Basketball Championship coverage.

He has served as play-by-play announcer for the NBA's New Jersey Nets television broadcasts since 1995 and has called play-by-play for the Nets radio broadcasts in previous years.

Eagle is the play-by-play announcer and the radio voice for the New York Jets and has served as a reporter for TNT's coverage of the NBA playoffs in 1996.

He joined WFAN in 1990 as producer and debuted as host of his own show in 1992 where he hosted the N.Y. Jets pre- and post-game shows on from 1993-1996.

A graduate of Syracuse University, Eagle lives in West Orange, N.J., with his wife and son.
