IAI Leader's Advises Obama to Avoid Wars Against "Imaginary Enemies"

The leader of the Iraqi insurgent group The Islamic Army in Iraq advised U.S. President-elect Barack Obama to avoid engaging in wars against "imaginary enemies" in the name of the war on terror. The comments came in an Internet statement in which he also strongly criticized the foreign policies of President George W. Bush, which, according to him, has undermined the world's security and stability and tarnished America's reputation around the world. He said the U.S. needs to adopt a new approach based on dialogue and cooperation with others instead of waging wars on them.
