(CBS/AP) PASADENA, Calif. - Hugh Hefner's 21-year-old son, Marston Hefner, was arrested just outside Los Angeles on Sunday night for allegedly attacking Playmate Claire Sinclair.

On Monday, the 2011 Playmate of the Year sought a restraining order against Marston Hefner after he was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, the Pasadena Star-News reported.

Marston Hefner was released from jail Monday after posting $20,000 bail, according to police and jail records.

Officers were called Sunday night to the apartment Marston Hefner shares with his girlfriend, and he was arrested after she was found with minor injuries, Pasadena police said in a statement.

After the incident, Sinclair thanked her supporters via Twitter:

She also opened up to E! News, saying, "All I want is for Marston to give a public apology and I want him to get psychiatric help. I want him to admit that he did hit me more than once.

In an interview last year with MaximoTV.com, Sinclair, 20, revealed she and Marston had a "tumultuous" relationship. "We're really good friends when it comes down to it, and I'm blessed to have someone who's so supportive," she added.

Hugh Hefner, meanwhile, told People on Monday, "If they care about each other, they'll patch it up."

Marston Hefner is one of two adult sons of the Playboy founder and his former wife, ex-Playmate Kimberly Conrad Hefner.
