How to Work Faster in Microsoft Word

word-logo.jpgIf you spend a lot of time using Microsoft's ubiquitous word processor, wouldn't it be great if you could spend less time using it? Web Worker Daily offers 12 time-savers for Microsoft Word, starting with this one:

Paste Your Formats. If you want to apply your formatting and styles for a given paragraph or document to a new paragraph or document, hit Ctrl+Shift+C to copy, select the text you want to apply the formatting to, then hit Ctrl+Shift+V. Colors, fonts, styles and all other formatting will be applied.
Some of these tips borrow from an earlier post on improving Word productivity, but taken together, they can definitely help transform you into a power user.

My two cents: Become a master of Ctrl-X (cut), Ctrl-C (copy), and Ctrl-V (paste). Once they become second nature, you'll spend a lot less time reaching for your mouse. Click the Comments link to share your own words of Word wisdom!
