How to Get Motivated to Cold Call
The recent post "Free Coaching: Accelerate Your Career" asked Sales Machine readers to identify the weakest link in their sales skill set, so that we could address the challenge personally. Sales Machine reader Jbpo writes:
My biggest problem is getting motivated to cold call or to cold visit prospects. I am okay once I start, but getting motivated and staying motivated are the 2 largest challenges for me. With the economy as it is, my being able to acquire new clients is do or die for me and for the company with which I work. There is a limited client base from which to prospect and there is a lot of competition in our area. I just need to get motivated to set those appointments and not get side tracked with other less important business.MY RESPONSE:
Try the system in that post and report back to me in a comment! I'm going to be very surprised if you don't tell me that you're no longer having problems with this kind of motivational challenge.
