House Panel To Convene On Florida 13 Result

A House task force is meeting next week to discuss the contested election results in Florida’s 13th congressional district.

Democrat Christine Jennings requested a recount after Republican Rep. Vern Buchanan narrowly won the race to replace Republican Katherine Harris, who lost her own campaign for the Senate, in the eastern Florida district.

The House Administration Committee announced the meeting on Friday.
