Hornets Activate Coleman
Forward Derrick Coleman, sidelined for nearly six weeks, was activated Tuesday by the Charlotte Hornets.
Coleman was placed on the injured list Nov. 18 because he was overweight and out of shape. He had missed the entire preseason and the first four games of the regular season because of an irregular heartbeat.
Before being deactivated, Coleman played six games, averaging 8.5 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.17 blocks.
To make room for Coleman, forward Eddie Robinson was placed on the injured list with a bruised tailbone.
