"I knew I hit it pretty good but I didn't think it would go as far as it did," Delgado said of his 467-footer, a two-run shot in the fifth off Andy Pettitte (12-6) that cleared the Hard Rock Cafe in right.
Canseco's sixth career slam gave the Blue Jays a 4-1 lead in the third against Pettitte, who lost for the first time since May 31.
In the seventh inning, Canseco hit his 26th homer off the facing of the fifth deck in left field, a 460-footer.
"That was a bomb," Canseco said.
In the 1989 AL playoffs while playing for Oakland, Canseco became the first player to homer anywhere into the fifth deck, connecting against Mike Flanagan.
The Blue Jays won twice in the three-game series. New York lost a series for only the third time this season, and has now dropped three of four games.
Woody Williams (9-4) allowed three earned runs and six hits in 6 1/3 innings. He struck out three and walked five.
Pettitte had his six-game winning streak snapped. He gave up seven earned and six hits and seven walks in 6 2-3 innings. The left-hander struck out seven.
"I made a mistake to Jose and Jose can hit mistakes," Pettitte said. "It was just one of those games. I wasn't locating my fastball."
Tino Martinez put the Yankees 1-0 ahead in the third with a sacrifice fly. Paul O'Neill hit an RBI double in the fifth that made it 4-2.
Bernie Williams singled home a run in the Yankees seventh. He went 1-for-3 with a walk in hi second game since returning from the disabled list.
The Blue Jays scored twice in eighth off Mike Buddie. Tony Phillips doubled home a run, his first RBI in the majors this year.
