Hillary Says No Chips For Bill
On Tuesday we mentioned an email from the Clinton camp announcing that a donation to Hillary's campaign could put one in the running for a chance to watch a presidential debate with Bill.
Said the former president in the email: "We'll sit down in front of a big TV with a big bowl of chips, watch the debate, and talk about the race."
Now a follow-up email has arrived. In it, Hillary has asked the lucky winners for "a favor":
Bill mentioned "a big bowl of chips" in the email he sent you Tuesday. If you are one of the three people who get the chance to join him, can you make sure he eats carrots, not chips? It's not the first time the former president has been disappointed with his wife's dietary selection (remember how bummed he was at getting carrot sticks instead of onion rings in that Sopranos spoof?) Carrots or chips, of course, this is ultimately a fundraising tactic, made all the more important by the fact that the third quarter ends this Sunday. Whether by finger food or football, the campaigns aren't missing a chance to add some cabbage to their coffers.
